I usually use thunderbird with all my email accounts but recently i was accessing gmail in other computer and used the website and noticed they had a new feature. I love that Google is always changing and updating their services with new features and this one on gmail i have to say i didn`t get it at first.
When you access your gmail account you can now pause it, meaning that you can make emails stop getting on your inbox. I didn`t get at first why you would want to stop your email inbox but if you receive a lot of emails or just want to take a break for a minute you can pause your email without log out.
I think you could just log out/close the page but i guess its a nice extra feature to have, especially if you use the website to access your mail.
Do you use gmail?
Do you think the feature of stopping your emails is useful?
