A long, long time ago (believe, really long, probably on February or March) I finally managed to go to Belém, one of the most well-known places in Lisbon, not only because the culture and monuments but also for the food, especially the Pasteis de Belém. Theyre like custard tarts but these are special: Theyre crunchy and the filling is so good, soft and sweet. Theyre the best, thats why theyre the most famous in the entire world :p
Theyre so delicious, especially while theyre hot with a little bit of fine sugar and cinnamon. As a drink, I picked a Mocca from Starbucks. There is one really close and theyre the best combo ever: a hot and delicious coffee with these pasteis. I really recommend to try them if you ever visit Lisbon, you will love them as I do :p
