It has been quite some time since I`ve last been on Luuux, but it`s good to be back!! Hopefully I`ll have some free time now to be more active. Anyways, the other day my sister and I decided to give Urspace in Temple City, CA a try. We have heard a lot of mixed reviews about the place, but we thought it was still worth a shot to give it a go. The decor was very modern and cozy. I decided to go with the mushroom bowtie pasta in a veal stock as well as a huge hokkaido milk tea. The pasta came in an adorable lopsided bowl. It was served with a side salad and a slice of garlic toast. The presentation was very nice but what I cared about was the taste. There were some small chunks of veal and some mushrooms here and there, but it was relatively sparse when it came to ingredients other than pasta. However, I was blown away by the flavor. The veal stock that the pasta is mixed into was surprisingly tasty! It was a water gravy texture and was bursting with a beefy flavor. Despite the fact that there was a lack of meat in the dish, each bite tasted like there was some infused in. When I first received it I was disappointed with how small the portion was, but by the end of the meal, I had more than half left over. Definitely something I would order again.
