Decided to share some photos from my trips around the world =)
This was from Hong Kong when I visited my friend at his work place. He was the same one who bought me to Avenue Bar & Lounge and treated me to some amazing creme brulee and Devil`s chocolate cake.
We went to this Japanese restaurant in Tsim Sa Tsui and he ordered a pork grill while I ordered a passionfruit ice. I wasn`t too hungry as I just ate lunch with another male with the same name as him. I call them #1 and #2 =)
The passion fruit ice was actually pureed passion fruit and mango in the form of sorbet and then topped with passion fruit seeds and some jelly.
I found this to be exceptionally sweet but also very refreshing as its hard to find fresh passion fruit in Toronto. As it was all home-made, there weren`t many other ingredients and you could only taste passion fruit and mango, which was amazing =)
This sorbet was actually $5 USD per small cup, which is similar to what you would find at Baskin Robbins in Toronto, but the quality of this was much higher.
What do you guys think?
