There`s a new frozen item in the freezer aisle at my grocery store and they were featuring this <strong>Pagoda Express "Spicy Orange Chicken"</strong> along with two other kinds Beef & Broccoli and something else I can`t remember for $1.99 on sale, originally $3.29, I believe. Attached was a $1 off so for $0.99, why not? It`s worth a try. I`m not into microwaveable food products, I`d rather prefer frozen to toast but I thought I`d try it out anyway.
What`s in the Spicy Orange Chicken?
Breaded chicken breast fritters with rib meat
Vegetables in a sweet and spicy sauce
Although the product DOES claim it`s spicy, it does live up to that- I didn`t think it`d be really spicy but it was too spicy for my liking. The rice tasted blah, like hard rice and then you microwave it = it`s not good anymore (hard to explain but not good). The meat on the other hand was "alright" for being frozen. I did throw the rice away and used my own to eat with the meat/vegetables.
Overall: Even though this was only $0.99 cents, not worth it. Let alone would I pay $3.29. I wouldn`t recommend this microwavable meal to anyone.
