Pad Thai for Lunch

Hey luuuxers,

As I mentioned in one of my recent posts, I`ve been helping out at my family`s company for the past few weeks while the receptionist is away on leave.

During lunch, I usually end up going out with my cousins since they know the best and quickest spots in the neighbourhood. One off their favourites is a small little pho place just across the street.

I love pho, but for some reason, I was in the mood to try something else, and settled on the pad Thai! When it arrived, I have to say it was a little different compared to pad thai that I am used to - this was so saucy, it was almost like a soup. But I have to say, I really enjoyed that it was so saucy!

Most of the time, pad thai has a `dry` kind of sauce since it is made with tomato paste or ketchup and can be very thick. The sauce in this case was almost like a broth, and it was served in a bowl so you really get a lot of it! But it was so delicious I didn`t mind one bit. There was so much sauce left over, I was tempted to ask for some bread or something to soak it up, but I was already all carbed out from the noodles.

The dish itself had huge chunks of chicken, big pieces of bok choy, and lot of veggies like onions, bell peppers and a ton of bean sprouts!

I`m getting hungry just thinking about it! I`m going to have to go back and get some again!
