3 years of college, 21 lbs and a significantly lower self-esteem later and I`ve decided to make a lifestyle change.
In high school I was co-captain of my swim team and ran a 5:58 mile on the track team. I was physically fit and it showed. I was able to eat whatever I wanted and not gain weight because I was so active.
Fast forward to college where I went to the gym every once and awhile and binged on fatty fast food whenever I was studying or stressed: which was all the time.
I am sick of the way I look now and I have decided that this summer I will change the way I eat and the way I workout!
I purchased P90X a while ago, but I never did it on a regular basis, but this time I am ready to make a commitment! I bought the P90X DVDs and the chin-up bar and resistance bands in the picture off http://amazon.com for about $175 all together.
To give you a reference of my fitness level, I just completed a half marathon and, in the past, I found P90X challenging. However, I think anyone who is determined enough can do it! Just work at your own pace and pause the video if you need to!
If you have any major concerns check with your doctor.
Here are my starting statistics before I begin the program:
Height: 5ft 1in
Goal Weight: 115 lbs
Starting Weight: 139 lbs
Chest: 34.5 in
Waist: 28 in
Biceps: 12.75 in
Butt: 37.5 in
Thighs: 24.25 in
Calves: 15.6 in
Hopefully by posting my progress on here I can be inspired to do well and maybe inspire all of you to try the program :3
I normally would not post pictures of my body in this sort of shape, but I know that I am overweight and this will be my motivation to change that!
I will update my progress every 15 days!
During the course of this program, I`m not going to follow any sort of diet. I am going to just try to eat healthy! :D
P.S. Sorry about my dusty mirror :( haha
Photos are my own.
I am in no way associated with the Beach Body company.
