Outfit to The Lion King

I saw The Lion King at The Orpheum Theatre a couple of weeks ago. As a lover of the original Disney animated movie and musicals, I definitely enjoyed this performance. It was amazing! especially the kids who played Simon and Nala.

end of the night pic sans outerwear...
Sorry I took the pic inside my closet in front of the mirror, but it was late and I didn`t want to set up the tripod. (FYI: I do share the closet and it is also a means of storage for household items.)

H&M Trench Coat
Zara Dress
Big Buddha Faux Fur Clutch (also worn here)
Blue Booties & Black Tights
& plain black cardigan (not shown) for extra warmth

People in SF are pretty casual and don`t dress up extravagantly for the theater. Although I did see some people in full on suits and gowns, whereas others were in torn jeans and sneakers.
I opted for something in between, but at times I did feel a little overdressed.
I didn`t care, because it`s not often that I get to dress up, let alone on a weeknight.

Also, I wanted my hair out of my face, so I tied it up. Guess what I used...
My eyeliner!
Too bad the picture is not great and the `do was already unraveling. But this is typically how I do my hair when I want it away from my face and when I lack all hair tools. Usually, I just use some cheap pens. Perhaps I`ll do a separate post on how I achieve my lazy, writing utensil `updo` lol.

Au revoir!
