I just got home a little while ago from my visit to the circus to see some friends who work there. The circus still travels by train (just like in the `old days!`) and quarters are cramped. That means wearing clothes that are both comfortable and durable since there`s a lot of squeezing into small spaces and brushing past people in the train corridor, haha. So, no, my circus attire is not in any way clown-like, but rather a bit more down-to-earth, lol :)
I opted for a pair of rolled up jeans since it was cool outside and jeans are pretty much a go-to pant option. I paired them with simple black flip flops since train yards are a little dirty and any nice pair of shoes would`ve been ruined, lol. I did also bring a pair of closed-toed flats (since my previous experience wearing flip flops in a train yard left my feet super black on the bottom!) but I didn`t end up wearing them.
For my top, I put on a simple lightweight navy blouse with a cami. Very simple, but I`m glad I went with it. Things always have a way of ending up dirty around there, so a dark color is safe, haha. It was also pretty flattering, too!
