So the day after we landed in San Francisco, we went to Otaez Mexican Restaurant to try out Mexican food! When we entered, it was definitely very warm feeling and the staff was very nice!
So we were pretty new to Mexican food and really didn`t know what to order other than burritos and tacos, but we still didn`t stray far from burritos and tacos lol!
So I ordered a burrito famoso (wet burrito as the waiter described to me lol), which is basically a burrito filled with rice, beans and my meat choice, topped off with pico de Gallo, red enchilada sauce, melted cheese, sour cream and guacamole! Doesn`t it sound like a lot of stuff...well it was...this thing was huge, you have no idea, the picture does not do it justice! It was stuffed full of everything and honestly I finished like 90% of it and just couldn`t do, and I eat a lot, so it was definitely worth it! The interesting thing about the restaurant was that they gave nachos and salsa while you waited for your dinner/lunch, which I thought was cool (maybe it was only me who thought it was cool but oh wells!).
I definitely would recommend this restaurant, now I`m not sure if they have different locations but the one I went to was located in Oakland.
What do you think? Have you visited Otaez before?
*Pictures are mines!
