This saves me so much space under my bathroom sink and I never have to wonder if I need to restock on my feminine products. I came up with this idea a few years ago and have stuck to it since - it`s perfect for organizing your feminine hygiene products and keeping them all together. Plus, have you ever been at a friend`s house or at a party and needed to `borrow` a product and checked under the person`s bathroom sink? (Come on... I can`t be the only one, lol) This helps with that, too!
I bought a linen-lined wicker basket (from Target, I believe) that is tall enough to hold tampons vertically just perfectly. Whenever I buy tampons, I put them right in this basket. I sort them by size and then put them in the basket standing straight up (I did try it with them lying horizontally, but there was a lot of extra room on the sides and it wasn`t as space-efficient that way... although I`m sure if you found a basket the width of the tampons you use, that would definitely work!).
With this method, the different sizes are easy to locate and easy to get right from the basket. I generally restock every couple months. I keep pads directly behind this basket in a smaller holder using the same idea. This way, you don`t have those annoying boxes all over the place under your sink and it actually looks pretty cute! My college roommate saw that I did this and she eventually copied me, haha (she would have tons of half-empty tampon boxes under her sink in our bathroom... this way was much better!).
Let me know if you do anything similar! Or, if you try this, let me know how it turns out! It`s a very simple but great organization idea!
