Here it is folks! These 2 lead nail polish brands have been competing to be the best on the market for years! so which one succeeded? Keep reading!!

ESSIE ($7.79):
Color selection: (5/5)
Lasting Power: (5/5)
Easy to apply formula: (2/5)
Dry Time: (1/5)

Essie`s nail polish always catches my eye since it has such a wide selection of all the popular colors girls are looking for in their nail polish! Their colors range from super glossy shades, to super sparkly and colorful! so there`s something for everyone! Also, their lasting power is the best i have tried so far! (and i have tried a lot!) Pair it with their top coat and you`ve got a mani you don`t need to worry about for another 2 weeks! maybe even 3! :O And with minimal chips!
But do not be fooled by these insentives, because essie also has a dark side...............
they`re formula is very thick and tricky to apply since its very strikey so you always have to apply atleast 2 thick coats! which sucks because we all know how brutal it is to wait for polish to dry! and if you just lightly touch it- it will be ruined! so buyer beware!!

OPI ($8.00):
Color selection: (4/5)
Lasting Power: (3/5)
Easy to apply formula: (5/5)
Dry Time: (4/5)

Compared to essie, opi does have a limited color selection and you can`t find them everywhere! but its cool that they come up with movie themed nail polish like the skyfall collection and the Oz the great and powerful collection!
The lasting power isn`t amazing but its better than other cheaper polishes (what you pay is what you get!) but if you pair it with a strong top coat then your good to go! (I would say 2 weeks is its maximum usually)
The formula is very easy to apply for beginners and is not streakey like the essie one, so with certain colors 1 coat may be enough!
And last but oh not so least the DRY TIME is great! so if your always in a hurry this would be good for you!

I always get tricked into buying essie polishes because the colors are so irrisistable! and the drugstores near my house barely have any opi nail polishes! and the ones they do have are all dried out and yucky! so maybe revlon??? hmmm..... (next review! ;) )

Thanks for reading! please like and comment for more reviews and suggestions! :)
