Heres OPIs New York City Ballet Collection. This years soft shade collection has super-feminine shades that are sheer yet elegant. When I saw pictures of the collection online, I thought it was too sheer and itd probably not even show considering how light it appears in the bottle. (Picture 1 is without flash, Picture 2 is taken with flash)
The colors from left to right are: Dont Touch My Tutu!, My Pointe Exactly, Pirouette My Whistle, Care To Danse?, Barre My Soul, You Callin Me a Lyre?
These polishes are not necessarily sheer polishes. They have a jelly-like formula and were thick. It wasnt as watery as a normal sheer polish. It made my nails almost look like I got a gel manicure. You Callin Me a Lyre was a nice pink that gave my nails a nice natural look. OPI did amazing adding the glittery polish. I tried them over all the sheer colors and they look FABULOUS! The glitter polish also had a milky finish like the other polishes in the collection and what surprised me was the fact that the glitters were almost smooth. I didnt have to scrub my nails with remover when I took it off.
While I was shaking the bottles before trying the colors on, I saw two magnet balls (refer to picture 4). They were tiny and they were in all the polishes, except the glitter one. I couldnt see anything with glitter everywhere, lol. I think they just help keep the formula thick and shake through the formula to create a nice consistency. So, Id recommend, if any of you get this collection, to shake them really well before you put them on!
When I was young, I wanted to be a ballerina. I never actually went to a class to learn ballet. The collection brings me flashbacks to my childhood when I used to dance around in my room pretending I was the best ballerina in the world, haha! Somebody needs to invent a time machine already!
You could probably get it at a salon that sells OPI. You could find a list of salons near you that sells OPI on http://opi.com
Lots of love and leave your comments, I read each and every one of them!!!
