Tie-dye became fashionable in the West in the late 1960s and early 1970s as part of hippiestyle. It was popularized in the United States by musicians such as John Sebastian, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead and Joe Cocker. Ive always found it to be synonymous with summer and good times. Now Ill show you my take on the trend. I found this dress for eight dollars at Ross. I love the long skirt, it gives a hippie-esque look in my opinion. Before I bought this dress I considered tie-dye to be tacky and cheap looking, but now I like it for a nice casual summer look. Let me know what you think about tie-dye and your favorite tie-dye pieces! Id you have any questions please let me know!
