OopsGlitter Overload (NOTD)

As sad as it is to remove a good manicure, I had to redo my nails. I thought I could get by without redoing them, I was wrong. Why? Well right after taking pictures of my Mango-Flakie Shake NOTD (http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/notd-mango-flakie-shake?blog_id=91480 ) I dinged my left pinkie. See that is the problem with me, I am never patient enough to wait for my manicure to completely dry. Meaning that I always either have a ding or a ripple effect on my nails.

I decided to call this NOTD OopsGlitter Overload because I do believe I used way too much glitter. You may ask why, well after China Glazes Sweet Hook dried, I found many bubbles on my nails. I absolutely hate bubbles on my manicure; its bumpy and annoying! The formula of the polish was nice, but a little thick I would say. But the bubbles annoyed me to the point where I decided to apply glitter to every nail. One coat of glitter polish was too little, but who knew that 2 coats were too much? It does suck that I used way too my glitter, but Ill live. Its better than having dinged or rippled nails.

What I used:

-Base Coat: Seche Natural (1 coat)

-China Glaze Sweet Hook (2 coats)

-Nicole by OPI Justin Bieber One Less Lonely Glitter (2 coats)

-Top Coat: Seche Vite

Even though I really liked my Mango-Flakie Shake NOTD, it had to go. Overall, I am pleased with this nail look, even if it has a bit too much glitter. Its a fun nail look to rock, but its not something I can wear everyday. Its just too much glitter for my liking. Ill just say that this NOTD is going to be hard to remove!

What are your tricks and tips to keep bubbles from appearing?
