Study of nearly 14,000 mothers in the world has shown that many do not know what precautions necessary to prevent the spread of disease.
You clean your child`s lunch box every day? Wash the vegetables that puts him at snack? These are only some of the habits that many mothers do not have and that can prevent diseases and infections in children, especially in daily contact at school. That`s what a new survey of the Global Hygiene Council on hygiene in school, made with about 14 000 mothers of children 5-12 years, from 14 different countries. About 44%, ie less than half, disinfects the lunchbox every day and 33% wash raw vegetables such as carrots, which are part of the snack - that`s because only 28% believe that this kind of food can be a source of contamination. And only 10% are concerned with foodborne illness.
