It took a little while for the Urban Meyer Era to get rolling in Columbus, Ohio, but receiver Devin Smith made sure it got off on the right foot.
The Buckeyes` first touchdown of the 2012 season was a high-flying, one-handed grab in the right end of the end zone by Smith. Mad hops, concentration and a sick catch not a bad way to start a new era at Ohio State even if there is no postseason at the end of it.
And the touchdown snapped the Buckeyes out of a funk that saw them trail Miami-Ohio 3-0 at the end of the first quarter. As the first half winds down, the Buckeyes are up by 18 points.
