Believe it or not people used to have fresh bread delivered to their homes. I had a hard time believing and imagining that, but our tour suggested that we need to imagine ourselves to a lifestyle decades a go. People didn`t live in extremely large cities, the populations were smaller, so it would have been possible for these bread trucks to make deliveries within 1-2 hours early in the morning. They would not only deliver bread, but morning milk as well. This truck has wooden selves to slide in fresh loves of bread and a container area with bins for the milk. I like the happy yellow color for the design of a bread truck. It would be a happy sight to wake up to in the morning or afternoon. I`ll bet it smelled amazing when this truck would drive by with all that fresh bread. Considering that a lot of people walked to where they needed to be and these trucks didn`t drive that fast, it must have smelled like fresh bread for hours at a time!
