I recently headed to the mall with my sister on the hunt for a new bathing suit, since summer is coming up.
We decided to go to Old Navy since they always have nice basic suits that won`t completely break the bank.
Personally when I`m buying a suit, I`m not a huge fan of bikinis. I don`t exactly have a bikini body being a plus size girl but besides that, when I`m at the beach, I`m the one running around playing volleyball, or swimming and I need a suit that I`m not going to worry is going cause a wardrobe malfunction LOL
I usually opt for tankinis or a basic one piece. I have a number of mix and match tankinis and bottoms, but I was looking for a nice new one peice and spotted this basic black one. It has a nice sweetheart neckline which is very flattering, and though it`s hard to tell, there is ruching along the stomach to help conceal and problem spots.
I was actually very impressed with the quality of this suit, and for under 40 dollars, I though it was a great buy.
I also managed to spot this nice bright orange a-line skirt for 15 dollars. It`s great for warmer days but since it hits at the knee, I could also wear it to work on hotter days in the summer.
Last but not least, I got a jersey 3/4 sleeve shirt. The jersey material is nice a cool, and the shirt is easy to wear for work without getting too hot in the summer.
With the temperatures in Toronto steadily rising, I`m happy to have these options to wear in the warm weather.....
