When I last organized my nail polishes, I rediscovered this CoverGirl nail polish that I quite enjoyed many years ago. Even though this bottle is very old, it does have one of those roller balls inside it, so that when you shake it, it helps the nail polish mix evenly, so you don`t get thick, goopy nail polish. I believe this was only 1-2 coats. The opacity is pretty great. Even after all this time, it still applies quite evenly.
I`m not sure if this nail polish or if this line of nail polishes is still in production. When I tried to search it up on the internet, I saw it being sold on Amazon and that`s pretty much it. However, I`m not one to get upset about products being discontinued or no longer available or easily accessible. The market is saturated with plenty of products that are similar to each other with price points all across the board. Besides, I`m at a point where I think I have plenty and find difficulty using up what I already have.
Basically what I look for in a nail polish is a color that I like, and if it is on sale. An extra plus is if I can hear a roller ball inside the bottle when I shake it.
This Midnight Magic polish in particular is like almost black, with a dark blue tint, with a tiny flecks of shimmer in it. I think it was the first dark nail polish I had ever tried back when I think I had a total of 2 bottles of nail polish.
