Hi everyone! Here is an old makeup haul from several months ago. I don`t know if you know this, but Lorac has been phased out of all Sephora and Sephora Inside JCPenney stores, so the only place to get Lorac is their own website, Ulta, Kohl`s and occasionally sites like Hautelook.
Before their displays were completely wiped out, I had decided I wanted the popular Unzipped palette, but was unable to find it at Sephora stores and it was not available on the Sephora website. All of the Ultas near me were also sold out of this palette, so I asked my boyfriend (who lives in Florida while I`m in California) to go to Ulta to see if he could pick up the Unzipped palette. I even called ahead to a store near him to put the last palette on hold so he could just walk right in and buy it. He`s a sweetie.
On a separate occasion, I saw that Sephora Inside JCPenney was the only one carrying the holiday set of 3D liquid lustres and, of course, the store near me was sold out. Again, my boyfriend was able to find this at his local JCPenney, and brought both items home for me during the holidays.
Unfortunately the holiday set of 3D liquid lustres is no longer available, but one of the shades is from the permanent line (Diamond) and there is also a gold one in the permanent line, which I picked up and posted about recently.
The Unzipped palette is part of the permanent collection and it`s a beautiful mix of shimmery and matte neutrals. This palette drew comparisons to the Naked 3 palette when it was first released, but I don`t think they are similar. This one leans more brown/bronze while the Naked 3 is definitely pinker.
I definitely like the Unzipped palette and would recommend it if you love neutrals. The 3D liquid lustres can be a hassle if you need to do makeup in a hurry because it is a liquid product. It`s fun to add a bit of sparkle to your looks though.
Thanks for reading! Have you tried any of these products before?
