Olay Complete Touch of Sun is a daily facial moisturizer with a bit of self-tanner in it. It`s supposed to gradually darken skin over time, while providing sun protection (UVA/UVB protection of SPF 15). The moisturizer that I have is for a light/medium skin tone, though I do believe they have a medium/dark skin tone version, as well. FYI, they have updated the packaging since I purchased this product. You can see the current version of the packaging http://www.amazon.com/Olay-Complete-Facial-Moisturizer-sunless/dp/B000P780NW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top. It`s out of stock on Amazon, so it`s possible that this product may have been discontinued. But anyway, on to the review! I find that this moisturizer does add a tint to my skin. It`s noticeable after only one day! If it`s winter, you might want to at least apply the lotion on your neck and chest area. If it`s summer, you will definitely need to use a full-body sunless tanner to make sure your facial skin matches the rest of your skin! I`m pretty lazy with sunless tanners, so I actually haven`t used this moisturizer much. >.< The scent of this lotion is actually quite nice for a sunless tanner. It has that non-descript drug store shampoo fragrance, in my opinion. Usually, I find that sunless tanners typically smell bad! (This is apparently due to the active ingredient in them reacting with your skin). So it`s nice that this one doesn`t reek, especially since I use it on my face, lol. Assuming this moisturizer was still available, I`d recommend it to anyone looking for a self-tanner for the facial area. I would probably also suggest that they use a full-body lotion with self-tanner in it, such as Olay Quench + Touch of Sun. I don`t think it`s a good idea to be mixing self-tanner brands, hehe. So that is my recommendation! =)
Have you ever tried a self/sunless tanner before? Do you have a favourite one? ***Photo is my own; please do not take.
