While at Downtown Disney last weekend with my cousin, we stopped in at one of the sweet shops. I was drawn to the gorgeous Disney-themed apples they had in the window and, when I saw the Olaf one, i knew I had to get it!
The Olaf apple is a granny smith apple covered in caramel and then dipped in white chocolate. YUM! White chocolate is a favorite of mine :) I love the details they managed to do on the apple, too. The hair, for example, is black licorice and his nose is actually a bugel (a sort of cone-shaped chip, almost, for those who aren`t familiar with them) covered in orange sugar sprinkles. So creative! M&Ms were used for the eyes and then milk chocolate was used for the mouth and details.
The verdict? Cute AND delicious!! The apple was crisp and the caramel and chocolate was seriously so good. I might make it a tradition every time I go to Downtown Disney (which, admittedly, isn`t too often even though I live right near it) to get one of their apples :)
