I purchased this eyeliner for $2 (regular $5.99) during a Boxing Day clearance sale (the day after Christmas - a major sale day in Canada).
I wanted to buy this liner in black, but they were sold out, so I settled for Dark Brown. It is very dark, and in most lighting, it actually does look black. So, no complaints on that front! :)
I find that the brush at the end of the wand applicator is easy to work with. It`s a bit long, but the bristles stay close together so that I am able to draw a straight line. Due to the length of the bristles, though, I do make some mistakes. Fortunately, the formula is easy to clean up with a damp Q-tip, if you fix your liner up right away.
When this stuff sets, it really dries onto your skin. The skin of my eyelid actually feels tight, and there`s even some shrinkage. This means that if your line is a bit thin, the line might "break" as it dries. It`s definitely weird, and not something I`ve experienced with a liquid eyeliner before. You can always go over your line again to touch it up, though. The staying power is great, but then, I don`t usually have issues with liquid liners smudging or rubbing off, as my skin tends to be on the dry side.
This was a great deal for $2, but I don`t think I`ll be repurchasing it. I prefer the applicators and eyeliner formulas of certain other liquid eyeliners I`ve tried much more than this one (such as Kat von D and Urban Decay). I would not really recommend this to anyone at full price, but it`s fun to practice with if you can get it on sale.
