NYX I Dream of St Thomas Review

The I Dream of St. Thomas palette comes in a sleek, slim black plastic casing that flips open revealing 5 shimmery shadows, a mirror and 2 sponge tip applicators. I really like the packaging. Its simple, cute and perfect for traveling! I dont think its very sturdy but its been holding up pretty well in my purse and makeup though!

The formulation of the shadows in this palette isnt too bad! The shadows are very pigmented (you can see the swatches here). They appear pretty vibrant alone, wet, or when worn over an eyeshadow base! I have experienced some fallout with these shadows but applying them wet or over a base drastically helps! The shadows apply and blend very softly and last pretty long with or without primer. I did notice a little creasing but nothing serious I promise!

The color selection of this palette was a little odd but in a good way! I like that if I wanted a nice day look or super bold night look I could easily pull it off with just 5 colors! The only thing I dont really care for about this palette is that all of the shadows are shimmery. I like mattes! Especially in my crease and to highlight my brow bone! But it still wasnt a bad buy at all! You get 5 great quality shadows for only $8.50! Plus the pans are pretty large!

Images are mine!!
