I purchased this liner from an NYX store for $2 during a Boxing Day sale (Boxing Day is the day after Christmas, and in Canada, that`s when we have our huge after-Christmas sales). There was only one liner left in this shade, Jade, so I snapped it up. It was a great deal, how could I resist? :)
The glitter in this liner is a jewel-toned green that reminds me of mermaids. It actually doesn`t remind me of jade, which in my experience looks more like a minty, or milky, light green. The built-in applicator brush is angled, which is great for application - it makes it a lot easier to apply, in my opinion.
In the photos, the swatch on the top was done with a single swipe, and on the bottom, with two-ish swipes (I sort of daubed the liner on to fill in the bald spots). Also, the first photo was done with flash, and the second was done without flash.
If you only apply one layer of this liner, the gel that suspends the glitter in it dries quite quickly. But if you do more than one, it does take several minutes for it to dry completely. But once it does, it doesn`t budge! So I do think that the wait time (maybe 5 or more minutes?) is worth it to get an opaque liner effect. :) I haven`t worn this for a very long time yet, so I can`t speak to how long it actually does last. But once this liner is set, the glitter stays put (unless you rub your eyes REALLY hard, which hopefully you won`t!).
Overall, I am super happy with this eyeliner. It was a total steal at $2, so that`s an added bonus! I think it was just over 10 or 11 dollars regular price at the store where I purchased it, but I do think it`s worth it even at that price.
