I found myself going back to the same things this month and with the coldness and lower humidity setting in, my skin type changed for the season. I usually have combo to somewhat oily skin but in the winter there are the patchy dry spots that show up on various locations but I also do get a bit of shine in the normal places like cheeks and nose. Here are my favorites for November:
Skin 79 BB Cream - This is a sample size but I love it so much that I will be getting a full size. It is a better BB cream than the Garnier one and some don`t like the greyish hue but for my pink skin this greyish tone offsets the redness in my skin. It leaves it moisturized but not greasy and is light coverage but somehow really leaves not much need for concealer.
Laura Geller Balance and Brighten - I love this stuff but am sad to see that it is running out faster than normal powders (it is expensive). I think because you can build up coverage without looking cakey so I am using a lot of it basically as a mineral foundation. I love this stuff because it makes your skin look smooth and like you are not wearing makeup. It also helps balance out any redness.
Maybelline Plush Mascara - This is one of the few non-waterproof mascaras that will actually hold a curl pretty well. I think it is because it is so lightweight that it doesn`t weigh down lashes. I am going through it quicker than other mascaras, although maybe that is because it is just drying up quicker since it is such a lightweight formula.
Nivea Chapstick - I haven`t been wearing much lipstick lately, but have been piling on the chapstick trying to not get dried out lips like I usually do every winter. So far, so good! This one is almost finished up and I will be swapping it out for the Sugar Lip glosses so look for a review on those soon!
