I feel like such a noob saying this back then in a few posts I kept saying I had Essies Van Dgo and Tart deco in my collection. Well, turns out I only had Van Dgo and the other one was Haute as hello instead. They seemed similar and Ive had the polish Tart deco at the back of my mind for awhile which is why Ive mistaken them.
With that out the way I decided to paint my nails with Van Dgo. Were lacking some sun here so I need to put some colour in my life. Or should I say on my nails. I tried Haute as hello before this but application and colour just looked terrible on me thats why you havent seen me post about it. This one looked better but Im not sure about it. Essies description of it is impressionist or not, this peachy keen shade leaves a vivid impact. Its peachy that leans a bit to the pinky side, especially in some lighting. Peachy shades actually make my hands look a bit tanned, not sure if you can notice that in the picture. I usually dont like that effect but the beauty of this one was hard to resist.
I know this ones a popular shade and quite a few people liked this one too but dang the application ticked me off. Thats been happening a lot with Essies for me lately that its becoming a usual thing. I still got all fussy over it though Lol. It took me 3 coats, the first was streaky, second was still a little streaky and everything got covered after the third. I didnt keep this on for long, 4 days was enough. By then Id only seen some minor chips and tip wear.
My Glossybox came some days ago. Stay tuned to see what I got in the box in time for Valentines :)
What do you guys think of this colour? Do you own this polish or would you pick this one up?
