I apologize for the lack of creativity with the title, lol. I just couldn`t think of what to call this manicure. So it is what it is...Glitters and Triangles. I wanted to use the new stamping plate that I just recently bought so today I did a bit of experimenting with it and came up with this combo. If you would like to see pictures of the plate that I used, please visit http://www.luuux.com/design/guess-what-came-mail-today-d?blog_id=27068. What I`m wearing: 1 coat of Milani Smooth Base Coat 2 coats of Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink Konad special nail polish white, used with the stamping design. 1 coat of Seche Vite Ok, I admit I am not a pro at nail stamping, as you can see from the pictures, the way the design was transferred is less than perfect but that was the best that I could do and it took me 3 tries until I got my left thumb looking decent. I just couldn`t get the lines to look crisp and sharp. I`m not quite sure yet what I`m doing wrong. It may be that I didn`t wait for the polish to dry up a bit, I pressed to hard on my nails when I transferred it, or I didn`t scrape the plate well enough before stamping...IDK. If you have any tips on how to improve my nail stamping skills, please don`t hesitate to let me know. Otherwise, I`m gonna have to just learn by trial and error. Not too shabby for my first full nail stamping manicure. If you want to wear glitters but are afraid of you nails looking like a disco ball, adding a matte colored design will help tone down the sparkles. In this case, they are just peeping through and don`t look too obvious. This mani looks very cute and fun and the picture really doesn`t do it justice. And for the base color, in case you were wondering how it looks on its own, it`s just a lovely fuchsia, magenta, blue, gold, and pink glitters in a clear base. On the swatches, I have 3 coats and one coat of Seche Vite. **Pictures and contents are mine. Do not use without permission.**
