NOTM: Striped nail art

So today (Monday) is Lunar New Year, so I went home for the weekend to celebrate with my family! While I was at home, I asked my sister to do my nails. She has a nail blog... She`s pretty good! Sponsored and everything! I used to do nail art, but it takes a long time and so I only did it for special occasions and never really got good at it (not good by my standards, at least. Everyone would complement me on my designs and such but they were just random and every nail was different... Not consistent so not very good by my standards, but they did look alright so I didn`t care). Anyway, I digress. I asked her to do my nails, so she told me to do her chores. Since I don`t have any chores (since I don`t live at home), I just decided to do them since I wasn`t doing anything anyway, and then she came and did this design on my nails! I think it`s really good! All the lines are so straight, and each nail looks the same! like the porportion of blue to silver to black are almost equivalent between all the nails :) Here`s a list of what she used:

  • Seche Vite Ridge Filling Base Coat Zoya Skylar L.A Colors Art Deco Striper Brushe in Silver L.A Colors Art Deco Striper Brushe in Black Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat

Then, since she did the nails on Saturday night but I didn`t get back to school and take the picture until Monday, I applied a coat of
Essie`s shine-e polish refresher to refresh the shine :) Can you do nail art, or know anyone who can? :) Please check out her blog for more of her work:` target=`_blank`> ** The picture is mine (as you can see, she took her own picture for her blog and I took my own for mine).
