The best thing about being home is that my sister, who runs a http://musingsofthenail.blogspot.com/, uses my nails to test new designs! :D I have a pretty long nail bed, so even when my nails are cut, they`re still pretty long and she likes testing designs on real nails rather than fake nails when possible, so... I get free nail art! :D hehehe. This time, she did a Pikachu (the Pokemon) design! Isn`t it so cute?!?! hehe :) Although, she messed up the left cheek. The red dot should be on the inside of my nail (towards the eye) rather than the outside, but it`s okay! It`s still cute :) Here are the polishes she used:
- Multi Care Base+Top Coat from Revlon
- Yellow Kitty by Sally Hansen from the complete Manicure Collection
- Black by LA Colors from the Art Deco Collection
- White by LA Colors from the Art Deco Collection
- Gogo Girl by Sinful Colors
- Seshe vite Quick Dry top coat
The only comment I have on the products she used is the Yellow Kitty by Sally Hansen. This color seemed really annoying to work with. It was really streaky, but my sister said that yellow polishes are always like that because of the pigmentation. I don`t actually own any yellow polishes so I don`t know about this. Moreover, it took 4 coats before the color became opaque, even with a basecoat... This something I`m not used to. Most of my polishes become opaque in just 1-2 coats ._. Have any of you had this experience with yellow polishes? Any reccommendations? Pictures are mine, please don`t take! Thanks!
