NOTM - it`s a sTeal

And quite literally so, no I didn`t quite steal it, I bought them with cash at the Friday market here in the town where I live. These are local polishes and probably won`t be available abroad but just the same the design and look is easily replicable with whatever brand you want to use or color for that matter.

Here are the polishes I used:
Bobbie clear polish used as base and top coat (forgot how much it cost but less than Php50 which is still a steal)
Coco Nail Lacquer in Teal Php 25
Maiya Nail Art Pen in black Php15

What I did:
After a cleaning, cutting and shaping my nails, I polished my nails with a clear base coat. Then, the Teal polish I fell in love with at first sight and I let them dry. Next, on my thumbs and ring finger, i used the black nail art pen with it`s long thin brush and created lines going across horizontally, diagonally until the lines criss cross each other and stopped doing so until i got the look i wanted. I didn`t do them all on all my fingers cause I still wanted to see the original color of the polish which I love. After letting the black lines dry, I coated it again with a clear top coat to protect the color and design of my nails.

So what do you think? Was I wrong to buy them so cheaply? How do you like my simple design?
