I`m excited to show you this polish because it was instant love when it arrived in the mail and I laid eyes on it. It is Zoya`s Maya. I had read such great reviews on it, which is what pushed me to order it in my Earth Day promo and I`m thrilled I did. It has definitely joined the ranks as one of my favorite coral polishes. Granted, it is rare that a pinky-coral comes by that I dislike... Zoya describes Maya as a semi-opaque bright pink coral with tangerine undertones. Zoya has this listed as a creme finished polish, but honestly, it has a squishy look to it that would make me put it under jelly. I don`t know how well that is coming off in the photos, though. This isn`t the most opaque polish I have ever used, but definitely buildable. I am wearing two coats in these photos and I think it looks perfectly acceptable. There is a touch of VNL (visible nail line) but it isn`t so obvious unless you are looking for it. If you are just a normal person who happens to look down at my nails, you wouldn`t really notice. Though it was a touch on the more sheer side, it had smooth application. It was extremely easy to work with and didn`t create horrid streaks as I brushed it on. It also didn`t pool into the cuticles or create any bald patches. It was a dream to work with. All in all, this is a beautiful polish that is fantastic for the summer. I highly recommend looking into this one. I do have an Essie polish that I think may be similar, but I don`t want to say anymore until I`ve had a chance to swatch them side by side.
