Today`s Nail of the Day is zebra print! I love animal print things, and I just can`t get the leopard or cheetah pattern down. But zebra print is so easy to do. I learned this technique by doing it on my own. And let me tell you I am horrible at art and that kind of stuff, so you can most likely do this on your own.
Products I Used:
Confetti: Wedding White $1.99 CVS/WALMART
Art Club (Nail art lacouer): Fine Silver: $2.00 or 3 for $5 at 5 Below
Art Club: Black $2 or 3 for $5 at 5 Below
I never tried Confetti brand nail polish before, but while on Christmas break, I ran into a CVS and saw that it was only $1.99 I decided to give it a try. I don`t have a really great white nail polish. This is not bad for the price. I did have to use 2 coats for it to be really white. It is a little watery but not too bad. You can work with it.
The Nail Design Polishes I got a 5 Below. They always have great bright colors, and the classics white, black, silver, gold. Check them out, very affordable! I love them!
I applied to coats of white, let it dry completely.
Then I used the black nail art design polish and I just started from the left side of the nail (on the bottom) dragging it to make a line to the right, then alternate it. Start on the right side drag it to the left. Or you can just draw random lines. (i don`t know if I explained that well enough, so watch some videos online i guess or you can ask me)
I then applied a silver line randomly throughout each nail to give it a little sparkle. I applied a regular clear coat and viola.
Hope you like it. I did it on the couch in a rush, but I wanted to share with you guys!
