Hey guys! So today I decided to repaint my nails again...no surprise there ;) Today I chose a light yellow color! I got the idea from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOwdT7rUHe4
I love Jen`s videos so much! And once I saw she painted her nails this butercup yellow, I wanted to try it out! I don`t know about you, but I`ve been almost terrified of pastel colors because they are so hard to paint and maintain! But I decided to face my fear and try it out! I also start work soon, and I think this is an appropriate color for the office setting :)
The polish I used was by Sally Hansen called Yellow Kitty. I bought this polish a while back and it still works great! The formula is not overly wet or rubbery, and it applies very well for a pastel yellow! The brush is very wide which for me, makes the application very easy.
I think for lighter colors that tend to streak easier, a fatter brush helps a lot for application. So from now on, I try to buy nail polishes that have the bigger brush, just to minimize the streaking. I have another polish by Julep called Blake, and it`s a gorgeous yellow, but the brush isn`t big enough, and it just makes the polish streak like no other!
I hope you guys can see from the pictures that there is hardly any streaking with this polish! I`ll see how long it wears :)
Thanks for reading!
