NotD with Urban Decay, OPI, and Wet n Wild

I was going through my nail polish stash the other day with the intent of finding a shade that I either hadn`t used, or hadn`t used much. I came across Urban Decay`s Fbomb, which is a bright red shade that I`d totally wear on my lips, but am not too keen about wearing on my nails. So, I decided to dress it up and make it more appealing to me. :) I remembered seeing a manicure on a really popular nail blog where someone layered a glitter polish over a crackle polish. It looked AWESOME, so I thought I`d take a stab at it myself. It didn`t quite turn out the way I expected, is an interesting look, in the textural sense? Lol, what can I say, my nails look strange today! :P

Here`s what I used for this manicure:

Jordana Calcium Boost Base Coat with Calcium Gel

Urban Decay Nail Enamel in Fbomb

OPI Black Shatter Nail Lacquer

Wet n Wild Wild Shine Nail Color in Sparked

Milani Quick-Dry Top Coat

The Urban Decay nail polish was really easy to work with, and dried quite quickly! However, my OPI Black Shatter seems to have gotten a bit gloopy since I last used it, so I made a bit of a mess of it. >.< There is quite a bit of glitter in the Wet n Wild polish, so the black shatter polish and base color don`t show up as much as I expected it to. The result is something that looks like a "textured" mani - there`s black and red under the pink and silver glitter, which contributes to a craggy sort of effect (I`m not sure how else to describe it, really). It`s okay but I`m not too impressed with it - I think I might re-do my nails later on today, actually. :P

Do you like glitter and/or crackle nail polish? If so, which one do you prefer?
