Okay, okay... so the base isn`t exactly a wine color. But after putting this manicure together I kept hearing Diana Krall singing Days Of Wine and Roses. (had to sing that song as a solo in the school choir in 9th grade) I just can`t get that out of my head when looking at this mani design. I`m probably completely alone in that, though, and I`m okay with it. I recently bought L`Oreal Paparazzi Pleaser, which is one of their new colors. I bought this after seeing /viz/notm-twisted-paparazzi-pleaser show it in a Luuux post. I fell in love immediately. Well, I`m not the biggest fan of it. There are a couple different reasons. I won`t go into details for now, but I will be doing a review on this color at a later date. :-( I really wanted to like it, though. Anyway, that is the base for this manicure. I also recently bought some of those Sally Hansen Color Quick pens and wanted to try one out with my Red Angel image plates. I have to say, if they all end up like this one, they DO work nicely for image plates. It doesn`t use much product at all and they pick up clean.
WHAT I DID: 1 coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails 2 coats of L`Oreal Paparazzi Pleaser 1 coat of Out The Door top coat Stamped on the rose from RA116 with Sally Hansen`s color quick pen in Pink Chrome 1 final coat of Out The Door This isn`t the typical Valentine`s manicure, but I think it works, what with the roses. And if you aren`t keen on pinks, reds, and hearts this may be up your alley.
