Stay Outta My Bismuth is the lighter of the two blue shades from the new Wet n Wild Chrome collection. It is a blue chrome/foil with some silver and gold flecks.
It was pretty opaque with the first coat, but I applied a second coat to cover any thin spots. You`ll probably want to wait a little bit in between coats because I found the formula to be pretty thick, so if I didn`t wait long enough, then it would have gotten really goopy on my nails. A good top coat helps to make it shinier.
I wasn`t too impressed with this because of the formula and the fact that I`ve worn this for less than 24 hours and it has already chipped quite a bit. Nail polishes with this kind of finish usually last a lot longer on my nails. I used Milani Smoothe Base Coat and Seche Vite Top Coat with it.
Also, this is $3.99, but you only get 0.29 fl oz, whereas most polishes come with 0.5 fl oz. This ends up being almost the same price as brands such as Essie, when you look at the price per ounce.
I wasn`t too interested in the other shades from the collection anyway, but after trying this one, I don`t think I will take another look at them. It`s not horrible, but based on the things I`ve already pointed out, there are other polishes that I like better.
Have you gotten anything from this collection?
