NOTD: Simplistic Bows

We went to the Renaissance Festival on Sunday but I needed to redo my manicure on Friday. I knew I would be wearing it through the weekend so I did something simple. Last year I did my American Manicure for the festival but this year I wanted something-something on my nails. I still went rather plain, though. I started with my base of Sally Hansen Triple Strong then 2 coats of OPI Bubble Bath. I considered adding crisp white tips but ultimately left it out. HOWEVER, I *was* going to put a coat of OPI I Juggle...Men. Somehow, though, I completely forgot to do that. I forgot EVEN THOUGH THE BOTTLE WAS SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! What is wrong with me?! Blind as a bat apparently. My next step was to apply a coat of Seche Vite. I needed it to try quickly so I could move forward with the stamped design. I no longer have the plates out in front of me so I cannot remember which image plates I used. BUT, either way.. it is the image of a lace bow. I just stamped this to the tips of my nails with Sinful Colors Black on Black. The final thing I did, design wise, was to apply black duo-chrome rhinestones to the centers of the bows. They are mostly black but have flashes of blue, green, sometimes reddish-orange. I finished the entire manicure with another final coat of Sally Hansen Triple Strong. I normally use Seche Vite but when I wear rhinestones the Seche is so thick that it coats the stones extremely well... Too well. Instead of having the cut edges they turn into perfect half circles. This takes away the colors that the stones flash. I love how they turned out. I feel they have enough interest to not be dull but weren`t over the top for the festival. They weren`t an attention grabber, I suppose.
