Even though its supposed to be a busy and stressing period, I always find the time to do my nails and now Im trying to make a habit of doing them during the day things get done a tad faster. Or maybe Im just rushing them a little.
I remember when quite a few people were all secret peri-wink-le this, secret peri-wink-le that so I had to get this polish and see what it was all about. This is like its name suggest, a periwinkle colour (I googled periwinkle before I decide to write this LOL) But from the pictures I saw its not as dark. Its a light blue to me with a hint of purple.
I wasnt quite sure of this at first, me and blues arent always compatible. Or at least I dont think so anyway. This one made me think of the last blue I wore which was Essies Lapis of luxury and with that polish I was also on the fence about it. But when I went work it changed my mind a little. With bright indoor lighting it looked a little softer, a little better and some customers complimented them too :D Yeah. I fall for that kind of stuff.
This took around 2-3 coats. (Its been a little while I forgot and I should be saving these brain cells to remember stuff for exams. But it was an okay 2 coats. But I kept dragging the polishes near the cuticle area which is why there is some bald spots.
Let me tell you that Im Chinese/Vietnamese. A lot of people asked what brand I was wearing; their expression was priceless when I told them it was from CHINA Glaze LOL. I had to assure them it wasnt made there of course. It was fine though, I just had to break the ice after that little awkward moment.
What do you guys think of secret peri-wink-le? Do you own this polish too?
