I was so excited when I got these nail polish strips for Christmas from my best friend. She gave me a bunch of gifts and this was one of them! I have been dying to try these ever since I kept seeing them in magazines and on YouTube. I think the designs are so adorable, especially the one I got. It`s called "Skinny Jeans" and i`m obsessed with the pattern. I`s so fun!
I guess i`ll start off by saying that the directions make these look SUPER easy to apply- this was the complete opposite for me haha. At first I didn`t know what I was doing and the application made a big mess. I had plactic, and excess nail polish strips everywhere on my vanity! After doing a few nails though I got the hang of the process quickly. It became easier to apply these with each finger nail I did. In the end these came out really nicely. The only thing thats such a bummer is that one of the strips chipped already after only one day :( Other than that i`d definitely re-purchase these again in all of the different patterns they have. Their such a fun way to switch up your nail look! I`m going to start stocking up on these for summer because I love the bright neon colors their coming out with. Neon is a huge trend for spring and summer this year!
I believe these polish strips cost around $10 at drugstores. Their supposed to last for 10 days. I`ve only been wearing them for a full day now but i`ve heard from others that they do last up to the 10 day mark.
I also just wanted to note that I applied a top coat to my polish strips which I know isn`t in the directions but I feel like they adhered so much better. I also blow dryed them after I applied the top coat. They looked so shiny and pretty! Love
