Heres my nails of the day. I used:
1. OPI `Congeniality is my Middle Name` from Miss Universe 2011 collection - deep/burgandy red, base color
2. OPI `Planks A Lot` from Pirates of Carribean collection, grayish purple dots
3. NYC `105 Starry Silver Glitter` - clear polish with silver glitters and large blue and purple glitters, accent nails
I previously reviewed the OPI deep red color. Since I was totally disappointed in the shade, I had to do some kind of nail art design over it. I came up with this simple dotted design using my Dotting Tool (if you you`re interested in the dotting tool then please check the source link). It literally took me 2 minutes to apply the dots since the dotting tool is so easy to use. The color combination isnt that great but I think it does look a lot better than just the red color alone. I think this nail design would look so much more fun if I had used some brighter and bolder colors like blues and hot pinks. The glitter polish is great to have because it works well on the accent nails. For a polish with that much glitter packed on, its actually pretty easy to remove. This NYC polish is less than $2 at Walmart and the color payoff was great. Only one coat is needed. Anyways, yes a very easy nail design to do.
