NOTD: OPI Austin-Tatious Turquoise + China Glaze Black Mesh

Hey, guys! I recently picked up these two nail polishes, and I just couldnt wait to wear them and share them with you all. Also, this is my first NOTD post, and Im pretty excited and proud of myself for remembering to do this.
Im happy with how this manicure turned out. My base color is OPIs Austin-tatious Turquoise, from the 2010 Texas Collection. Over it, Im wearing Black Mesh by China Glaze, which is their black crackle polish.
Austin-tatious Turquoise is a gorgeous medium turquoise (duh!) color with amazing green and purple duo chrome and silver shimmer. It is really sheer, so to achieve full opacity I used five coats. But its a really great formula to work with, which makes its sheerness not a big deal.
Black Mesh is, in my opinion, better than the OPI Black Shatter. It crackles into more random pieces, so your manicure looks really unique. With Black Shatter you get sort of a pattern it looks easy to recreate, while Black Mesh makes it look more complicated and like you worked hard on your gorgeous manicure. And who doesnt like to sport nail designs that look like they took more skill and effort to create than they did?
I really like this combo, the two colors contrast beautifully with each other. If you have these polishes definitely try them together.
Please leave a comment below telling me what you think of this combo. And is shatter/crackle nail polish still in, in your opinion? Im still loving it.
Thanks for reading.
