Just wanted to share with you girls my current NOTD. I`m really liking it because it has an ombre look to it but it is subtle and goes with a lot of my gold jewelry that I`ve been wearing a lot lately. I used 3 different polishes but I think that you don`t need to have these specific polishes to achieve the look. You can easily find nude, gold, and gold glitter polishes nowadays at the drugstores. So the 3 polishes I used are Revlon`s Elegant, Opi for Sephora`s Only gold for me, and Chanel`s Kaleidoscope (don`t think they sell this color anymore). After applying a base coat, I used 1 coat of Elegant then waited for it to completely dry. Once dried I applied Kaleidoscope only on the tip of my nails, you don`t need to do the edges neatly since you will be covering it up with the glitter polish. Again, wait until it is completely dry. Then apply the gold glitter polish sparingly from where the gold polish ends all the way down to about 3/4th of your nail to achieve the ombre effect. I touched up w/ a second coat of gold glitter polish wherever I thought needed more glitter. Then wait for it to completely dry and apply your top coat. Voila! Very simple and elegant nail look, hope you guys like it!
