I decided to do another manicure in the watercolor method. I really enjoy doing it and I think the end result is so fun! This time I used far less colors, though, and stuck in the blue/green family. It reminds me of moss or murkiness under the sea. I love watercolor manicures.. oh, but I didn`t just stop with the water coloring. I added some glitter on accent nails.
WHAT I`M WEARING: 1 coat of Milani Smoothe Base Coat 2 coats of Revlon Minted 1 coat of Seche Vite Water colored with Sinful Colors Last Chance Water colored with Sinful Colors Midnight Blue 1 coat of Milani Jewel FX glitter in Teal on ring fingers and thumbs 1 coat of Out The Door I should have used Seche at the end instead of Out The Door because it didn`t smooth over the layer. Playing around with the acetone I used, I found that the cheaper kinds don`t spread the colors as well as those with higher acetone content. When I did this, I used an Essie remover. The first time I tried doing the water color, I used a dollar store generic acetone. I prefer the higher content acetones.
