This nail of the day is Essie`s Set in Stones over Revlon`s Minted. I really love this combination, even though Revlon`s Minted chips like crazy! As you can see in the photo, the nail polish is already peeling off a bit, and I`ve only had this combination on a day!
I really love Revlon`s Minted, I think it`s a perfect mint color for the spring time. However, it has a terrible formula. This polish takes a lot of coats, is really streaky, and chips really easily. I have a few other Revlon nail polishes, and the formula for them is much better, so I`m not sure if it`s just something wrong with the one I got. If you own Revlon`s Minted please let me know if you have the same problem!
I covered Revlon`s Minted with Essie`s Set in Stones, which is currently one of my favorite nail polishes. I think it helps cover up the streaks, so it actually looks quite nice and makes Revlon`s Minted a little more wearable for me.
Overall, I love this combination and I will probably does this again. I really want to find a good mint nail polish though to replace Minted, so if you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks (:
