I think this will be my second to last Halloween manicure that I am going to put up. There is one more that I MAY attempt to squeeze in... we`ll see. This is my little devil manicure. It was easy to do, but didn`t turn out exactly as I had envisioned. I`ll explain more when I get to that step. I started by applying 1 coat of Sally Hansen Triple Strong for my base coat. That was followed up with 2 coats of Sinful Colors Ruby, Ruby. I let that set for just a couple of minutes and then sponged on Sinful Colors Black on Black at the tips. I next swiped on a bit more of the Triple strong over parts of the black and used a nail brush to pick up some black glitter from Julep. That was the step I should have just skipped. It looked cool at this point, but the moment I moved forward with the stamping, it was all pretty much covered up....rendering that step useless....and creating a very textured devil. ANYWAY.... I stamped on the devils using Pure Ice Silver Mercedes polish. The middle fingers and thumbs have the larger devil faces and the rest have the smaller, more full-bodied ones. The last thing I did was to seal everything in with a coat of Seche Vite. So while this didn`t turn out exactly as I had hoped, it isn`t completely horrid. I thought it was still worth sharing with you.
