I wanted to wear green nail polish for Saint Patrick`s Day yesterday, so I tried out the only plain green nail polish I have - Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Fast Dry Nail Color in Lickety-Split Lime! I`m quite fond of the colour, but it didn`t last long at ALL. :/
Here`s what I used for this mani:

Jordana Calcium Boost Base Coat with Calcium Gel

Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Fast Dry Nail Color in Lickety-Split Lime

Milani Quick Dry Top Coat

I got a few compliments for my green nails yesterday...that is, until the polish started cracking and flaking off! It was worse than any polish I`ve ever tried, in terms of wear time. I painted my nails the night before, there was tip-wear in the morning, and the polish started flaking off in big chunks by the early afternoon. >.< So annoying! When wet, the consistency of the polish reminded me of White-Out. It was really weird, and kind of hard to work with. It was opaque on the first swipe, but had a tendency to not apply smoothly, and had a "chalky" finish, just like White-Out does. It did dry very quickly, but what`s the point if it`s going to crack and flake mere hours later? I`m not impressed with this polish, and won`t be buying any more Sally Hansen Insta-Dry polishes. :/
