It is Friday! This means I actually have the time to paint my nails. I had originally this blue color from one of those sally hansen nail pens with a coat of Wet`n`Wilds Hallucinate and I was bored of that. Most of the time I wait until my nail polish chips off completely because I hate using nail polish remover. So, I forgot how hard it is to get glitter nail polish off. It took me at least 40 minutes to get it all off; it didn`t help my nail polish is a sensitive one so it is weaker.
Anyways, I then painted my nails a Sally Hansen Xtreme Nail Polish called Lacey Lilac. I got it at Walmart for $1.18 and I was so happy, I have been looking for a cheap lilac color. (I don`t like spending too much money on nail polish because I never use it all it always dries up or gets icky) I put on a coat and it was incredibly opaque, which I didn`t expect. Then, I painted one more coat just to be sure and it worked out great.
Then I tried to this marble effect on my ring finger with a toothpick but it made a mess. So, excuse the messy ring finger. Anyways, I redid that nail and then painted a layer of Purple Rain from Rimmel London on it. It is a very dark purple, like a plum, so it contrasts nicely with the pastel purple.
What is your favorite spring nail polish color?
P.S. Sorry for the blurry picture, for some reason no matter what I did the camera would only focus on the ground.
