To me, as a creative soul, it doesn`t matter what kind of brush you hand me...wether it`s a paintbrush or a teeny tiny nailpolish brush, I will paint with it. A couple of days ago I was handed such a nail art brush by a very good friend of mine and she told me to do whatever I wanted to her nails. Since my nails don`t really make for a nice canvas thanks to years of compulsive nail biting, she offered up her own nails for my very first jab at creating nailart.
My assignment... Pick a colour any colour! Let your imagination run wild! That`s a phrase that makes my heart do a little summersalt. Picking a colour wasn`t very difficult either since I have always been a fan of yellow.
I found two polishes that I thought would look very good together. A very bright yellow called Happy Go Lucky by China Glaze and one by Catrice, this one was from a LE and is called `London`.
To spice things up a bit I used a dotting tool and the colour `I wear my sunglasses at night` and dotted a diagonal line across my ring finger. After that I painted the bottom half od my nail in that same colour. With a slightly smaller dottingtool I used Happy go Lucky to create a kind of `perforated` effect in the diagonal line. Overall I`m very proud of my first nail art and off course very curious to find out what you think :)
